This new course teaches cost-saving and sustainability efforts that can be implemented in laboratory settings to help save money and resources in your facilities.
This two-day course teaches students the concepts of sustainability in a laboratory setting through lecture and hands-on training. Current initiatives and programs are discussed to help learners with their own green labs projects. Case studies are examined to evaluate the impact of sustainability efforts on energy and water consumption, facility operating costs, and the safety and integrity of research being performed.
