Biosafety Cabinet Classes

We offer a range of biosafety cabinet training courses, from a basic overview to advanced biosafety cabinet certification.  A comprehensive overview of BSCs is provided in Safety Cabinet Technology, including how biosafety cabinets work, HEPA filtration, types, exhaust requirements, factors that influence performance, decontamination and testing according to NSF49. For those who would like to certify BSCs, the basic program can be followed by Advanced Certification. Applied Practice workshops are customized and allow participants to work with instructors to get personalized instruction. This includes instruction on both the NSF 49 and EN 12469 standards.
